Tuscan Rosemary and Pine Nut Bars

1/4 cup 
pine nuts
1/2 c butter cut into  ten pieces
1/2c 
powdered sugar
1T fresh rosemary chopped fine
1c flour

spread pine nuts on baking sheet and toast, stirring twice at 350 degrees about 5 minutes

Melt butter,remove from heat stir in powdered sugar, rosemary and pine nuts.  Stir in flour to make dough.  It will be stiff.
Pat dough evenly into un-greased8 inch square baking pan.  Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

cool pan on rack for 2 minutes.  Using a sharp knife cut into 16 squares.  let cool in pan at least 10 minutes before removing with a small spatula
